If anyone is around and has no junior to run with, please come along and support theis race. I could do with a few pairs of hands as well to helpwith the marshalling.
Cheers

Dear All
If you feel strongly about the proposed TAN 8 large scale windfarm
development PLEASE go on the Welsh Assembly Government website link below and
'sign' the Welsh Assembly Government e-petition. It is our opportunity to
petition WAG to review TAN 8. Please pass the email onto as many people as
possible. Thanks.
Looking through the calendar for 2011, I came across the Penine way Bridleway Relay which takes place at the end of January. Is there sufficient interest to get ateam together? Logistically inclined people to reply please!!
I think that it would be a great "craic".
Perhaps we can discuss at AGM?
Rick
Hi,
I would like to propose that the Club sponsors some of our promising young runners to access some Coaching courses. We have some really keen Juniors who would benefit greatly, and would then bring further recognition to the club as one that supports its members.
What do others think?
Rick
Nick,
your challenge looks great mate; need to get out there and do it asap. Route choices are interesting as well. Can I suggest that you add the GH fingerpost as a checkpoint.
Rick
Hi,
Will be going to do Peris on Sat; anyone else going up so that we can car share?
Cheers
Rick
Mark Bollom & I completed this classic route on saturday 25th June 2009 in a total time of 15.59. Starting at 04.02 from Pen y Pass and storming into Storey Arms carpark at 20.01. Thanks to our support team of Jan, Rachel and Sam who accompanied us on the hill - 3 sections and 1 cycle.
Our respect for Tom Gibbs has increased as a result of completing this route for which he holds the record of 10.57. Also thanks to Grahame Spencer for sowing the seed!
Rick
Did any MFR enter the OMM this year? There must be a good story to tell via the web site! Well done.
Rick
Well Mercia runners did us all proud- a greater number than any other club today. The day was fantastic and the weather showed us colours that do not normally get shared in N. Wales( ie usually GREY!)
Whilst no prizes plenty of represenattion through the field. A minutes ' silence was held in honour of Gill at the start.
Well done all and see the rest of you next year. In the meantime do not forget the Breiddens on 12the Oct.
Rick
