Hi,
Will be going to do Peris on Sat; anyone else going up so that we can car share?
Cheers
Rick
Well, I did 21 hours then the weather turned with a vengeance. It was a great day out though - excellent support team and we all enjoyed ourselves - even me! Notably we only saw 1 group of walkers all day. Rumours about next May... More on p14 of the FRA Forum thread: http://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/showthread.php?t=4384&page=14
Hiya, just thought I would share my latest race experiences!
Firstly I would like to say a big thank-you to Pauline and Keith for putting together a great race like the the Stiperstones Race.
Weather not friendly this Saturday so it'll be next weekend. AndyD is on BG support duty elsewhere but DavidW is up for a decent chunk of it. Looking forward to it! I think !?
Some pictures from the race are up on my site....

Mark Bollom & I completed this classic route on saturday 25th June 2009 in a total time of 15.59. Starting at 04.02 from Pen y Pass and storming into Storey Arms carpark at 20.01. Thanks to our support team of Jan, Rachel and Sam who accompanied us on the hill - 3 sections and 1 cycle.
Our respect for Tom Gibbs has increased as a result of completing this route for which he holds the record of 10.57. Also thanks to Grahame Spencer for sowing the seed!

Well, the SWT-induced foot injury is finally behind me. All systems go for July - date t.b.c. depending on the weather. Good support team featuring a few Mercians: ultra stalwarts David Waide and Andy Davies; Lawrie Jones; maybe Pete Vale too. Really looking forward to it. I think :-O Only 2 weeks to go :-O :-O
There are some pictures from this race up on my web site

I did not manage to get pictures of all the male runners, I think my camera did not appreciate the rain and decided that a little rest was called for so I missed some of the runners in the middle of the pack.

Pictures from these two races can be found on my site.

Sorry about the quality of the Foel Fras pictures but conditions at Carnedd Uchaf were a little unpleasant....

I've been struggling with a couple of injuries so have had to postpone my attempt. If you can make either of the above dates, let me know - a bit more Mercia support would be brilliant.
