Winter Series 2007 2008 After 3 Races

Interim results from Shropshire Hill Winter Series 2007-2008 have now been posted on the Race Results Page, Pete Ball & Anna Bartlett from Shrewsbury AC currently lead both the Men & ladies categories, with Mercia's Andy Yapp leading the M40's Ed Davies the M50.The next race in Winter Series is the Longmynd Valleys on 3rd February

­A map showing a suggested route for this race has been posted in the race information page. This race requires navigation (I know I got lost last year!), so if you've not done it before you need to study the map and work out a route.­

Long Mynd O - December 19th 2007 to January 7th 2008

­­You are invited to take part in Wrekin Orienteer Long Mynd Challenge.
A permanent Orienteering course will be available on the Long Mynd between the above dates.
There will be two courses---Short at about 6 miles and a long at about 8 miles. The above distances are in a straight line between the controls. Actual running distance is likely to be 25%
more t­han this.
You will need Ordnance Survey Map of the Long Mynd at 1/25000.

For those of you have not already seen one of the fab Christmas Card that is been circulated this year, it's from an original painting by Graham Andrew, of Mick Boultons old Bedford Coach making its way up the Burway, it is been sold in support of Severn Hospice, so if you haven,t been sent one, you will have to go out and buy one for yourself quick, you may even pick one up in the sales, available at all good book shops in Shropshire, Charity Shops and of course Severn Hospice
