SERIES RACE COMPETITORS

When filling an entry form for a race can you make sure your name is written very clearly in exactly the same way for every race (e.g. always Andy and not sometimes Andrew). Mistakes hard to correct afterwards as the results information is published in many places (often within hours of the race finishing).

Batch Bash 2016 ROs Report

image.jpg

The “Batch” is such a beautiful valley in the Long Mynd, and at the start of the Summer warmer weather, it never fails to be a popular run of the summer series. 121 runners.

Duncan Birtwistle from Telford AC came in 1st in a fast time of 26min 2 sec, followed just 5 seconds later by Callum Mitchelmore from Shrewsbury AC. Dom Jones from Mercia in 26:38. How they get round that fast I don’t know! Not quiet as fast as Tim Davies, record holder from 2010 with 25:03.
