The next race on the Shropshire Fell Running Calendar is Wednesday 17 June, its the Annual Shroppy Handicap organised by Shrewsbury AC run from Criggion, 5 miles West of Shrewsbury, the event features a race within a race, as well as the normal style race, every runner who has run in the Shropshire Series of Summer or Winter Races will be given a handicap, some say I make up these times up, but I can assure you it's all based on hard facts of how you have been running over last 12 months, the handicap time is subtracted from your actual time then we spin the dice and see who's won, the prize giving is always the best bit as the prizes are completely naff and anyone can win them, it's a race you just cannot miss.
