Mercia Fell Runners Club

The fourth race in the summer series certainly fitted the bill, Summer felt like it had arrived with sunny sky's and a warm balmy evening, not the perfect ingredient for super fast racing you would think, well think again, The Davies Boys were in town and they would be giving it everything, Steve Cale was in third position and could only watch and wonder, Tim was giving everything and coming off the hill managed to pull the advantage, not only that, he broke the course record too, 18.05 seconds 24 seconds ahead of brother Andrew. The Ladies had a race too, with Mel Price of Mercia showing good form and giving Anna Bartlett a run for her money, Anna won in 23:52 with Mel one place back in 24:13.
