Mercia Fell Runners Club

What a really great night - probably beat the Oscars for glitz, glamour and Trophies!!  A lovely candlelit ambience greeted the diners as they entered the Champagne Suite at the Buckatree Hall Hotel besides the Wrekin, a splendid begining to the evening of fun and terrific food preceeded the main event where we all presented trophies to each other and generally patted each other on the back, we had such a good time that we felt sorry for all you guys who couldn't come.

Our current Chairman guided us expertly through the programme of events, ex-chairmen reminisced and founder members gathered around the cake for photographs, a toast was drunk to the past 25 years and the next 25 years! Next year the Dinner will be on 5th February, so a little note in your diary and you too can be where it's at.  But, don't worry if your diary doesn't go that far, I will be giving you plenty of reminders. Thanks to all for a terrific evening. Mercia cannot only run,  it can party too!!
