Dark Peak 15 Trigs

I ran this 55mi, 8500ft route yesterday with Mary Gillie (Clwydians), in 13:07.  Great day out, perfect conditions with high cloud, cool breeze and the peat drier than we dared hope given how wet it's been.
Old Glossop start & finish; a water drop at Yorkshire Bridge, and The Sportsman pub kindly looked after our food bags which we collected late a.m. before they opened. It's a nominally unsupported challenge although Dark Peaker Ian Winterburn ran with us from Emlin to Outer Edge - a real boost. Also we were ambushed by Yiannis Tridimas in Hern Clough - a lovely surprise, totally unexpected. Details are on www.gofar.org.uk/ Basically Kinder - Win Hill - Stanage - Derwent Watershed with Cock Hill, Harry Hut and West End Moor (Alport) added. All the trigs on the 1994 KIMM map, apparently. Much of it is familiar territory but the path along upper Alport Dale en route to Higher Shelf Stones is a delight - I'd never been there before.
